Digital Immigrants are those who have landed in a strange land and little by little, watching the natives, we learn to survive in these latitudes. Web 2.0 is as new as the century, we can create content, share and communicate with people who have the same interests as us anywhere in the world. It's almost the promised land.
The library of the Polytechnic University of Madrid has offered its staff a training course on Web 2.0. On day 21 I shared with a group of colleagues at the Polytechnic a day when we talk about the place of libraries in social networking. For some, was the first encounter with Facebook. Even those who initially distrustful and suspicious, eventually seduced by the numerous possibilities of knowledge sharing in social networks.
Train template library 2.0 technologies, is betting on a new relationship with users, but also give librarians the opportunity to review their work, from a creative point of view and motivating.
