Coso is a trio that makes short and noisy songs for guitar , bass, drums and instruments home electronics.

Formed in Buenos Aires (Argentina) in early 2009 by Javier Areal Vélez, Florencia Curci and Leonello Zambón is presented live from August in places like the National Endowment for the Arts, La Cigale, San Martín Cultural Center, a former asbestos factory, and other fields of the experimental underground scene of Buenos Aires.

The compositions are short instrumental pieces in which different traditions come together, as the postpunk, the no wave, contemporary academic music, circuit bending and different branches of the noise.

live presentations last approximately 15 minutes and are taken to be site specific interventions. For each concert will pose different musical arrangements and visual feature space. This can mean anything from the creation of completely different projections for each date, to use a giant kettle drum microphone instead.

independently publish their first EP, available at Old Deadly (Av. Corrientes 1145) and free digital version, through www.myspace.com / loscoso.

In February 2010, with support from the Cultural Center of Spain in Buenos Aires, performed a live session with French director Vincent Moon (who recently worked with REM, Sigur Ros, Mogwai, etc), which will be distributed through La Blogotheque (www.blogotheque.net).
